Bad Movies

Everybody has their own type of movies that they like whether its comedy, drama, action and horror. I love all types of movies but there is one movie that I just cant stand to watch and that is Speed Racer. If you are a car guy, don't let the name fool you like it did me.

Now many people would say that they love the movie Speed Racer, especially children. If i was seven years old I probably would have enjoyed it more, but i saw it at eighteen and thought it was the dumbest damn movie I've ever seen. Now Emile Hersh is a great actor and im sure many people have seen him in other movies such as Lords of Dogtown and The Girl Next Door. I honestly think that he lost some of his fame from this one. Speed Racer was dumb for a lot of reasons but the main reason was because it was almost cartoonish but with real people. I cant stand those type of movies.

Luckily i watched it at a friends house and didnt have to worry about renting or buying it but i still thought it was a complete waste of time. I was disappointed because i used to watch the TV shows when i was younger and i didnt think it was anywhere close to being like the original show. I expected it to be more like real life stuff. Im sure it would have told me what it was about by a just looked at the title and who was in it and just agreed to watch it.

There are plenty of things that they could have put in this movie to make it better. The only thing that would be better for me is if they would have had it almost real life. I understand the show was a cartoon and wasnt real but i think more people would have enjoyed it more if it was. It would have been something that i would have bought if it was. This was definitely my least favorite movie and i will never watch it again.
